Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Grandfield Media Private Limited, Hyderabad, India, for using Likeitz (likeitz.com and the installable app). By creating an account or posting, you accept them, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines.

1. Who can use Likeitz

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. One account per person; keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

2. What Likeitz is

A place to post pictures, collect hearts and see what is most liked in a category or near a place. Likeitz is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000: the pictures are posted by users, not by us, and we do not check them before they go up.

3. Your pictures — your responsibility

• Post only pictures you took yourself or have the right to share. You confirm you hold the rights, or have permission, for every picture you post.
• Do not post a picture of another person that is private, intimate, or taken where they expected privacy, without their clear consent. Do not post pictures of children other than your own, and never in an unsafe way.
• You keep ownership of your pictures. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, resize, display and share them on Likeitz and in links, previews and QR codes that point to Likeitz, for as long as the picture stays on Likeitz. Remove a picture and the licence ends for it, except for copies in backups for up to 14 days.
• You are legally responsible for what you post. If someone claims a picture you posted breaks their rights or the law, you will deal with the claim and cover our costs from it.

4. What is not allowed

Anything in the Community Guidelines marked as not allowed, and in particular: nudity or sexual content; content that harms or sexualises children; non-consensual or private pictures of others; harassment, hate, threats or defamation; content that is illegal in India, infringes copyright or trademark, is misleading, or is spam; anything that reveals another person's personal data; and any attempt to game the hearts (bots, fake accounts, paid votes) or to break or overload the service.

5. Removal and takedown

Every upload is checked automatically for nudity and may be refused or held for review; a picture reported by several people is hidden until reviewed. We may remove any picture, heart or account that breaks these terms, without notice. Anyone can report a picture with the "Report" link on it. Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we remove intimate or nude images of a person posted without consent, and impersonation, within 24 hours of a complaint, and we act on other valid complaints and lawful government orders within the time the law sets. If your picture was removed and you disagree, write to the grievance officer.

6. Hearts and rankings

Hearts are opinions of other users, not a certification of anything. Rankings can change at any time, and we may reset or correct counts to remove manipulation. Hearts have no monetary value.

7. Our service

Likeitz is provided "as is". We work to keep it up, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or that content will never be lost — keep your own copies of your pictures. We may change or stop features, or the service, at any time. To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to ₹1,000.

8. Ending

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms. Sections 3, 5 and 7 survive.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, write to us — most problems are solved by email.
